1/15/2023 0 Comments Red pill documentaryAtheists should read the bible creationists should read The Greatest Show on Earth capitalists should read the communist manifesto feminists should at least watch The Red Pill. I think it's important for people to challenge their preconceptions. This is also seperate from the red pill sub. And I do not support such groups or ideologies. This film does not appear to me, to be supporting that. Hope you give it a watch, it has really opened to my eyes to some issues I face.Įdit: I would also like to say, I believe their to be a blending of MRA's, which appear to be about men's rights, and other sexist groups or ideologies. I don't know what exactly should be done about these issues, but it feels good to say that we as men face issues relevant to being a man, and we would like support. I have no idea what to say further, this issue doesn't effect me. But if a man wants to have a child and the women doesn't. Obviously a women should be able to get an abortion. There is a disparity of reproductive rights, IN CERTAIN ANGELS. Boys earn less higher ed diplomas than women. Just in case you will not watch it, she has stats that say men are more likely to be abused in relationship then women, men have a 60 percent higher degree of punishment in criminal justice than women for the same crime. I am all for gender equality and agree with a lot of gender theory, but this really brings up SO many issues that I face as a man that I haven't heard articulated in my years of exposure with feminism. But it didn't seem like a normal bomb to me, it seemed to touch an edge. Obvisouly it could have been that my poem was shit and hers was good, she was a better poet for sure. But I felt like her issues with being tricked by a nice guy were aplauded, but when I brought up my issues with being an wage earner and problems with not fitting the ideal male strong man stuff, I was shunned. I agree with her point, although the tone seemed hash. This was after a screamed poem about how nice guys are really shitty people. I was shunned for being weak by feminists at an open mic, by showing the weakness of my masculinty. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but I was emotional abused by feminist in my relationship at work and a feminist at home. Violence from a partner, violence from a female coworker, being and ebodiment of proper capital production, simply for being weak. For somebody to articulate some of the things I have gone through and been shamed about. As a man, it felt like a relief honestly. It brings up a lot of really good, untalked about problems faced by men that are not talked about in the feminist movement. Have any of you guys seen this yet? I am a feminist in that I agree with gender equality.
